EASY TO ENABLE TAMIL FONTS IN ANDROID MOBILES




HAI FRIENDS


There is have a lot of problem in tamil unicode font, because english have only 26 characters but in tamil we have 247 characters Thamizh is an oldest Language in the world,  there is a lot of survey and lot of search going to know about thamizh.

i am searching the best THAMIZH unicode font for android but i can't get yet.

The major problem is some unicode font supports some mobile models only,
Many android mobile does not support the unicode font.

Now in the android market we got one tamil unicode font. i attach the link below

Download and install the above font it is very easy to enable Tamil unicode font,
This font also supports some mobile only,,,,
if your mobile not support the above font just follow the steps,

Before you install, backup your default fonts, otherwise you can't able to change to your default font.



To Backup the fonts:

Goto -->system/fonts and copy all font files, create a folder to sdcard and save it by using root explorer.



 To enable tamil font in android mobiles,


1st of all, we want to ROOT our mobile., then install the BUSYBOX from the android market.

FONT INSTALLER:


We want to install the  FONT INSTALLER application.

download the application from the above link.



Now we need Tamil unicode font:


TAMIL UNICODE FONT:

Download the Google font from the above link.


After downloading the FONT keep that in SDCARD of ur mobile.


To backup the font:

Goto -->system/fonts and copy all font files, create a folder to sdcard and save it by using root explorer.



If you want default w8 font click here: w8 default font

If you want xperia font click here: xperia font



Now open the FONT INSTALLER



select the sdcard,




Now install the Droid san tamil.ttf which shows "Droid san tamil" in the FONT INSTALLER application.






AFTER INSTALLING, TURN OFF THE MOBILE. WAIT 5 SECOUND THEN TURN ON YOUR MOBILE, MANUALLY.  If they ask reboot, just skip that, reboot your mobile manually,

Use TAMIL UNICODE KEYBOARD  from android market for typimg....

Now your mobile fully function to tamil unicode font, as default to message, browser what u want to see.
